Karan Johar’s Student Tara Sutaria Sees Kangana Ranaut As “An Inspiration”
Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year gave the industry talented actors like Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. And now the 2nd instalment of the franchise is set to introduce two young ladies- Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria. The songs and trailers have been keeping the social media abuzz and fans are eagerly waiting to see this Punit Malhotra directorial.

Now, Karan may be mentoring the girls and giving them their big Bollywood debut, but when it comes to taking inspiration, one of his students, Tara feels it is Kangana Ranaut’s journey, which she really looks up to.

During her film’s promotional interview, she spoke about her role model. Tara took Kangana’s name and was all praises for the actress. While talking to Pinkvilla, Tara said, “Kangana has achieved everything on the basis of her talent and without any support whatsoever. And being an upcoming actor, for me, Kangana Ranaut is a role model as she has inspired me.”

For those who’ve come in late, Karan Johar and Kangana Ranaut have been at loggerheads ever since the actress appeared on his chat show, Koffee With Karan, and said that Karan is the flag bearer of Nepotism. Her comment initiated a big debate in the industry about star kids being preferred over outsiders. At many events, Karan and Kangana continued attacking each other with controversial statements and till date the two celebrities don’t leave an opportunity to pass a sly comment on one another. With that equation, Tara has named Kangana as an inspiration, we wonder what KJo has to say to that.
