It looks like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Brahmastra is jinxed. Ever since the film was announced, all we are hearing is the delay of the film. Even after the final release date was announced which was December 4, 2020, the film saw another delay due to the Coronavirus lockdown extension, as claimed by Bollywood Hungama. The story doesn’t end here, Ayan Mukherji, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, aware of the ground realities, have voluntarily decided to take a pay cut to make the project viable, suggest reports by Bollywood Hungama. 

As this news was making its way to every news portal, Karan Johar who is one of the producers of the film took to his Twitter account just a while ago to inform people to not to rely on any false news until and unless an official statement comes on any official account. He made a humble request to not make any assumptions on the fraternity films. However, after reading his tweet, it makes us wonder if he is hinting towards Brahmastra. Nevertheless, we don’t know if he is actually squashing Brahmastra pay cut reports but he has definitely raised our curiosity.

While sharing the tweet, he wrote, “My hugest request to my media friends not to reach any assumptions on our fraternity films...these are challenging times for the business and false news only makes the situation worse! Please wait for official news on any account!! This is a humble request....”


Brahmastra also features Nagarjuna who plays an archaeologist, Mouni Roy and Saurav Gurjar who will be playing the antagonist and Dimple Kapadia.
