Karan Singh Grover Confesses To Being Depressed, Says Wifey Bipasha Basu Was There To Help

Karan Singh Grover who is killing it as Mr Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 recently spoke about his tryst with depression. On Mental Health Day that took place on October 10, 2019, Karan Singh Grover spoke about his suffering and how important it is to talk about mental health. He shared that he suffered from depression and had his wifey to support him in the time of the need. He shared that Bipasha and his family were around when he was going through it.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, KSG said, “There is a reason why I want to talk about mental health. Because I have lived it. Depression can be caused because of many reasons and the root needs to be identified. It has been a difficult journey, maybe not for me but for my loved ones because I got great help and support from them. Bipasha was there. It is something that we need to speak about.”
He further went on to say that everyone goes through depression at some point in time and that is because of the pressures we all face, be it of earning money or running into things. He added that there is much more to life than succumbing to pressures. Well said, boy!
On Mental Health Day, other stars who spoke about the condition are Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone. Alia, whose sister Shaheen was a victim of depression, cheered for her initiative that will help people to deal with Mental Health. On the other side, Deepika Padukone, who herself suffered through the dark phase, sold a few clothes from her own wardrobe to support her charity.
