There is no denying that actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is aging like a fine wine. Even in her 40s, she manages to turn heads with her utter beauty and fashion sense. However, sometimes, Bebo comes under the radar of nasty trolls, and recently, she got body-shamed for sharing her picture post her intense workout session. Kareena’s selfie has gone viral on social media with several netizens trolling her and saying she "looks older than her age."
In the picture, the Jab We Met actress can be seen sitting on the stairs and posing, showing off her post-workout glow. With her hair wrapped in a tight bun, she let her skin breathe and had no make-up. Soon after the picture hit the internet, some netizens trolled Kareena. Reacting to the post, one user commented, “Budhi aurat.” Another said, “41 ke hisaab se kuch jyada h old lag rhi…” One comment read, “Skin ko kya hogaya hai kaisi dikh rahi hai.” Many also lauded Kareena for sharing her sans makeup selfie. This is not the first time when the Veere Di Wedding actress has been body shamed and called ‘buddhi.’ In March this year, Bebo and her BFFs Amrita Arora and Maliaka Arora were body-shamed. Hitting back at trolls, Kareena had penned a note that read, “I keep seeing this on comments! If and when I bother to check, unless it's the one that comes up on top! So... buddhi is meant to be an insult?? Cos for me it's just a word.. a word that mean old?! Yes we are older... n wiser... but you are nameless, faceless, ageless? And so are your folks.”
On the work front, Kareena is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film will hit the theatres on 11th August 2022. She is also expected to appear on Karan Johar's chat show 'Koffee with Karan Season 7'.
