Kareena Kapoor Khan On Shooting For Laal Singh Chaddha During Pregnancy As She Cannot Sit At Home: ‘I’ve Ants in My Pants’
Kareena Kapoor Khan has the sassiest reply to being asked about shooting during pregnancy amid pandemic. Bebo confesses her family always used to say, ‘I’ve ants in my pants’
Nawab couple Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan surprised one and all when they announced the arrival of their 2nd baby. Almost 4 years after their first baby and internet sensation Taimur Ali Khan, Saifeena is all set to embrace parenthood once again. Soon after making the baby announcement, Bebo had dashed off to Chandigarh to resume the shooting of Laal Singh Chaddha co-starring Aamir Khan. After wrapping up the shoot, Kareena had penned a sweet yet emotional note thanking the entire cast and crew of the film.
After completing LSC’s shoot, Bebo started filming What Women Want season 3. Now during her latest interview, Bebo has opened up working during the pregnancy amid COVID. She stated that she can’t sit at home as her family used to say she has ants in her pants. Bebo went on to say that one can’t sit at home thinking this is the situation. Taking all the precautionary measures, one can try and work.
During her latest interview with The Quint, when Bebo was asked if her work-life balance occurs to her and if she ever feels over-committed, she said, “I think I take on whatever I can take on. Like I shot Laal Singh Chaddha, but nobody expected a pandemic to take place. It just so happened that we happened to be in this situation otherwise the film was getting over in April and I hadn’t signed on anything else after that. The fact that I got pregnant, I fulfilled my commitment and that was I think a brave move because that’s what I had to do.”

She added, “There’s nothing wrong with taking all the safety measures and trying to work. Pregnancy is not an illness and I definitely agree that we are in difficult times but you must protect yourself. I can’t just take things for granted saying that I can’t work because this is the situation. I am not that kind of person. I am also a little gutsier. Of course, my parents and all always say that I can’t sit at home. I’ve ants in my pants.
