Kareena Kapoor Khan Once Said It Would Be ‘AMAZING’ Being Stuck With Saif Ali Khan And Shahid In A Lift; Would Ask Them THIS Question
Throwback to when Kareena Kapoor Khan said that it would be ‘amazing’, being stuck in an elevator with Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor. She revealed what she would ask them, read on to find out!
While Kareena Kapoor Khan is happily married to Saif Ali Khan, and Shahid too is blissfully married to Mira Rajput, Kareena and Shahid had dated each other long back. Shahid and Kareena broke up in 2007 during the making of Imtiaz Ali’s Jab We Met, but even so, there doesn’t seem to be any bad blood among the two exes. It was in 2016, in an episode on Koffee with Karan, that Kareena was asked an awkward question as to what she would do if she was stuck in an elevator with both, Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor.
Kareena Kapoor Khan replied very gracefully saying that it would be ‘amazing’ if that scenario actually played out. She had said, “It would be amazing. They are doing an amazing film together (Rangoon) and get along really well. I’d be like, ‘Why wasn’t I the heroine in Rangoon?” Rangoon was headlined by Shahid and Saif and Kangana, who played the female lead in the movie opposite both the actors. The film eventually didn’t garner any positive reviews and also ranked at the box office.
Later on, Kareena also worked with Shahid in the movie ‘Udta Punjab’, in which she was paired opposite Diljit Dosanjh, while Shahid was paired opposite Alia Bhatt.
In a recent episode of her radio show What Women Want, she opened up about how she did not feel threatened by Alia’s ‘powerful’ role in the movie and cited this is an example of changing mindset in the industry where the female actors are a lot more supportive of each other. “I like the way actresses nowadays congratulate and praise one another on their work, and sometimes even share each other’s work.
