Kareena Kapoor Khan Opens On Raising Taimur And Jeh; Actress Says, 'It's Important For The Boys To Know A Mother Is Their Father's Equal'
Kareena Kapoor Khan shares that it's important for her boys to know that their mother and father are equal.
Kareena Kapoor Khan is a doting mother to her kids Taimur and Jeh Ali Khan. Bebo and Saif's first child, Taimur Ali Khan is a star in his own right. The star kid has many fan clubs dedicated to him on social media and it speaks volumes about his popularity. Bebo welcomed her second son, Jeh, earlier this year. The little munchkin is often spotted in the city along with his parents. Bebo launched her pregnancy book, 'Kareena Kapoor Khan's Pregnancy Bible: The Ultimate Manual For Moms-To-Be' sometime back and opened up about both her pregnancies and how different her boys are from each other and more.
And now, in a recent interview with Film Companion, Bebo opened up about how she is raising both Taimur and Jeh. She said, "Well in the case of Tim and Jeh, I think the idea is that they see me go to work even now. Like when, every time I put on my shoes, Taimur asks, 'where are you going?' My answer is 'I'm going to work or I'm going to shoot or I'm going for an event or I'm going for a meeting because amma has to work'. So, abba works and so does amma. I think growing up looking at the fact that in this house, it's not just the man who does things, we both do things equally."
Bebo continued, "We're both bringing food to the table, we're both very clear on the fact that we're both working as a couple. We're dependent on each other emotionally, and financially we share. And if my boys grow up knowing that their mother has the capability and demands that kind of respect in her home and gets it. Goes out to work, works hard and comes home so that they can have a good life. I think that's half the battle won. It's important for the boys to know that women are equal to men. On the work front, Kareena will be seen in Laal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan. The movie also stars Naga Chaitanya. Helmed by Advait Chandan, Laal Singh Chaddha is a remake of the Hollywood film 'Forrest Gump'. Besides this, Bebo is also producing a film with Ekta Kapoor that will be directed by Hansal Mehta.
