Actors and close friends Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora have tested positive for Covid-19. In a statement, the BMC had claimed that both the actresses had violated Covid norms and protocols by attending several parties. BMC has also asked Bebo and Amrita to remain in-home quarantine. The ‘Jab We Met’ actress also took to her Instagram account to confirm she has been diagnosed positive for the novel virus. Now, in a recent interview Kareena’s father Randhir Kapoor has revealed that the actress has isolated herself and doctors are taking good care of her.
While speaking with Etimes TV, the veteran actor said that Kareena had mild symptoms on Sunday following which she underwent the Covid test. But, she is absolutely fine now. Randhir was quoted saying, “Kareena had mild fever and body ache on Sunday and hence she underwent the test. But she is absolutely fine now. Doctors are taking good care of her.”
When quizzed asked about her kids Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan, he added, “She is currently in home quarantine so I told her to send the kids to my place, but she said that Taimur and Jeh can stay with her. She is fit and fine so it will be okay.”
On Monday night, Kareena Kapoor Khan issued a statement, confirming she has tested positive for Covid 19. She also asked all those who were in her touch to get them tested. Her statement read, “I have tested positive for Covid. I immediately isolated myself while following all medical protocols. I request anyone who had come in contact with me please get tested. My family and staff are also double vaccinated. They are currently not showing any symptoms.
