Kareena Kapoor Pens Heartfelt Birthday Note For Her Niece Samaira, Calls Her ‘Fabulous Elder Sister’ To Taimur-Jeh: ‘Lolo Ki Beti Is 17
Kareena Kapoor wishes her niece Samaira on her 17th birthday in the sweetest way possible
Karisma Kapoor's daughter Samaira Kapur is celebrating her 17th birthday today with her family. The little girl is receiving sweet shout-outs from her family members, cousins, and close ones on social media. Aunt Kareena Kapoor Khan too wished her niece in the sweetest way possible and shared a priceless memory of Samaira with her mother. Calling Samaira ‘fabulous elder sister’, Bebo expressed her undying love for the little girl in her heartfelt post.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Kareena shared a throwback photo featuring Karisma and Samaira where the mother-daughter duo can be seen hugging each other. Alongside the post, she wrote, “Mamma ‘s baby girl…fabulous elder sister to our boys …Kind,gentle and beautiful…All of 17Happy birthday to our Samaira love you so much @therealkarismakapoor #Lolo ki Beti Sam is.”
Notably, the Raja Hindustani actress dropped heart emojis in the comments section. Kareena's sister-in-law Saba Ali Khan also wished the birthday girl, writing, “Happy Birthday Samaira.” Ace fashion designer and their close friend Manish Malhotra wrote, "happy birthday Samaria.”
For the unversed, Samaira is the daughter of Karisma from her ex-husband, Sanjay Kapur. Both got married in 2003. Reportedly, Karisma filed for divorce in 2014 and their separation happened as per mutual consent.
Earlier, in an interview with us, Karisma had revealed that her daughter is not interested to join Bollywood. She said, “My daughter and her group of friends are interested in films through all aspects of movies, so whether it will be behind the scenes or in front of the camera I still do not know. They are just experimenting now and learning the ropes. So right now there are no such plans per se. Above all, Samaira is very young and still in school.
