Karishma Tanna And Varun Bangera To Get Married On February 5; Couple's Wedding To Be A Mix Of Gujarati And South India Rituals -Report
If reports are to be believed, Karishma Tanna and Varun Bangera will tie the knot on February 5
Karishma Tanna is all set to tie the knot with her beau Varun Bangera. Though the actress has not revealed anything yet, rumours of their wedding is the talk of the town. As per a report in ETimes, Karishma and Varun will get married on February 5. The couple's pre-wedding rituals will start a day prior, with mehendi and sangeet ceremonies on February 4, haldi and shaadi on February 5.
The report further states that the actress is planning for a South Indian look for a post-wedding function. Given that Varun is a South Indian, Karishma wants to incorporate her beau's customs at the wedding.
ETimes quoted Tanna's friend saying, "Karishma has been planning her wedding wardrobe for quite some time. She wants to do something special for her husband-to-be and her in-laws, so she has picked a pink Kanjivaram saree with gold embroidery and has bought authentic South Indian jewellery to perfect the look. She will be wearing the saree after her bidaai as she enters her new household. The wedding will be a mix of Gujarati and South Indian rituals." Talking about the wedding guests, keeping COVID-19 in mind, the couple brought down the number of guests. The source revealed, "Karishma and Varun had planned a big fat wedding, which obviously isn't possible in the current scenario. Keeping the COVID protocol in mind, the original list has been reduced to 50. However, that hasn't dampened the spirit of the bride-to-be. A wedding is a big event and Karishma wants to make the most of her big day."
Karishma and Varun got engaged in November last year. The couple's mutual friend Suved Lohia had shared the good news on Instagram. He had shared a picture of the two and captioned it, "Two hearts one beat, two bodies one soul. Congratulations to my man and my KT." He added, "The rumours shall stop now" along with a laughing emoji.
