Kartik Aaryan Cancels His Multi-Crore Deal With A Chinese Mobile Brand In The Wake Of India-China Border Clash- Reports
According to an online portal, Kartik Aaryan has cancelled his multi-crore deal with a Chinese mobile brand due to the current tension between India and China and his recent picture might be the proof
In the wake of the recent India-China border clash in Ladakh, the Government of India has announced a ban on 59 Chinese apps including one of the most popular apps used in India and world over, TikTok. Having said that, we came to know that Kartik Aaryan has taken this seriously and decided to call off his multi-crore deal with the Chinese mobile brand he endorses. Well, the Luka Chuppi actor was a brand ambassador of Oppo which is a Chinese phone, hence, Aaryan took this step considering the ongoing tension in LAC, as per a report in Dainik Bhaskar.
According to the portal, they came to know that “Kartik has been out of Oppo. He has done this due to the current tension between India and China. Apart from this, it has also come to light that Kartik has become the first Bollywood celebrity to take this step. On June 18, CAIT, Confederation of All India Trades wrote an open letter asking celebrities to leave endorsement of Chinese brands.” Well, as this report is making headlines now, just yesterday Kartik posted a picture of himself clicking the sky and backed the picture with, "Yes. I am that Bua who needs to click the sky every time there is a cloud."
However, netizens were smart enough to point out that the actor was holding another brand of phone and not the one he endorses. Even though the actor has not confirmed this news, it hints that Aaryan has indeed closed the deal and this recent picture might be the proof.
Nevertheless, a report in Filmfare reported that the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) had made a plea to celebrities not to endorse any China-products. However, this could also be the reason behind him calling off the deal.
