Just a couple of days ago, Kartik Aaryan announced that his upcoming romantic thriller Freddy has hit the floors. Since then, fans of the actor have been beyond excited. And now, on Saturday, Kartik took to Instagram to welcome Alaya F in the team. Yes, you read that right! The actor has found his leading lady in Alaya F. Kartik shared a picture of the actress cutting the welcome cake. Sharing the photo, he wrote, "Welcome @alayaF from Freddy."
Reacting to his post, she commented, "Soooooooooooo happy to be onboard." She also dropped dancing emojis. She also commented, "When did you decide to post this!!!" To which Kartik replied, "Freddy loves to give surprises." One fan dropped a comment saying, "Wow," many others dropped heart emoticons.
Taking to her Instagram, Alaya shared a picture of herself holding a clapboard of the film. Sharing her excitement, she wrote, "Ready for Freddy. Soooo happy to be on board with the most wonderful team!" Mrunal Thakur and Ruchikaa Kapoor showered love on her. Alaya made her acting debut last year through a leading role in the comedy Jawaani Jaaneman. She played the role of Saif Ali Khan's daughter. The movie was well-received by the audience and many loved her debut performance.
Talking about Kartik, apart from Freddy, he has many interesting projects in the kitty. He will be next seen in Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Ram Madhvani's Dhamaka, and Captain India. He also has Sameer Vidwans' 'Satyanarayan Ki Katha'. Director Sameer Vidwas had released a statement and said that they have decided to change the title of the film to avoid hurting any religious sentiments. Apart from this, Kartik will also star in a love story with Kiara Advani.
