Currently, Kartik Aaryan is considered to be one of the cutest heartthrobs of Bollywood. From his charming looks to a million-dollar smile, almost every girl in this country is going gaga over him. If you remember, a fan even got down on her knees and proposed the actor outside his residence, guess, now you know his craze amongst the female population. However, this guy wasn't born with a silver spoon as he had to struggle before entering this showbiz world. 

 

Kartik recently became the cover boy for GQ magazine's March edition and in his interaction, Aaryan revealed deets about his struggling days before entering the showbiz world. He revealed how he earned his first cheque from an advertisement and from, not his Bollywood debut film, Pyaar ka Punchnama.

 

He told the magazine how he arrived in Mumbai for his B.Tech in biotechnology, but instead of hustling to complete his assignments, he was hustling to make it to as many auditions as he could to land an acting gig. To get an audition, one has to make a portfolio, he couldn’t afford as it was expensive. On failing to shoot one, he then used to cut himself out from group photos and by the second year of college, some stray advertising gigs came to his way and first gig earned him a cheque of Rs 13,000 after TDS deductions. Wow.



 

On the work front, after getting a lukewarm response from the audience for Love Aaj Kal,  Kartik Aaryan is now gearing up for his upcoming film, Bhool Bhulaiya with Kiara Advani and Tabu. The actor also a big-budget film under Karan Johar’s banner, Dostana 2 also starring Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya.
