Katrina Kaif And Fawad Khan’s Shelved Film 'Raat Baaki' To Be Now Made With Yami Gautam-Pratik Gandhi? Deets HERE
As per the latest report, Aditya Dhar has decided to revive his shelved film 'Raat Baaki' with Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi. The movie earlier was supposed to have Katrina Kaif and Fawad Khan as main leads.
Back in 2016, it was reported that Katrina Kaif and Fawad Khan will be teaming up together for filmmaker Aditya Dhar’s love story titled Raat Baaki. The news left their fans all excited. However, the project was later, put on hold due to unknown reasons. Reports suggested that the film has been shelved. Now, as per a report in Bollywood Hungama, after five years, the makers are planning to revive the movie with a new star cast. It is said that Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi have been roped in to play lead roles in Raat Baaki.
A web portal quoted a source close to the development as saying, “In 2016, Aditya Dhar was planning a film titled Raat Baaki with Katrina Kaif and Fawad Khan, however, that script was put on backburner following the growing political tension between India and Pakistan.”
The insider added, “Aditya has decided to revive that project with Yami and Pratik, as it's a script close to his heart. However, he will just be producing it with Ronnie and the direction will be taken care off by someone else.”
The report further revealed that the film will get a new title now with a fresh subject. The makers will soon make an official announcement with the title, cast, and crew. Earlier Aditya was supposed to helm this film, however, he is currently occupied with his upcoming superhero film, Ashwatthama. Therefore, the director has decided to just revive the story of Raat Baaki with a fresh cast and a new director.
