Katrina Kaif On Her Relationship With Salman Khan: It’s A Friendship That's Lasted 16 Years
At a recent press interaction, Katrina Kaif was asked about rumours linking her to Salman Khan, to which she shared a 16-year-long friendship with him!
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were among one of the most celebrated couples of Bollywood; however, things didn’t go as planned and the two parted ways. Though that hasn’t affected their friendship and the two continue to share a cordial relationship, and they have even worked alongside each other in several films post their breakup. Salman and Katrina’s most recent outing was Bharat and it was a massive success at the box-office. Of late, the internet has been buzzing with rumours of their link-up and the Zero actress was quizzed about the same during a recent press interaction at the India Today conclave.
Putting rest on the speculations, Katrina Kaif revealed the two have moved on and ‘just friends’. Moreover, she also praised Khan by calling him a solid person, who is always there for you. “It’s a friendship that's lasted 16 years, he’s a true friend. He's a solid person who is there for you when you need it," said the actress. She added that Salman may not always be in touch with you, but he will always have your back. “He may not be in touch with you all the time but he stands beside his friends,” concluded Katrina. We hope this brings all the rumours to an end!
On the work front, Katrina Kaif will be reuniting with Akshay Kumar for Rohit Shetty’s upcoming cop-drama – Sooryavanshi. Salman Khan, on the other hand, will be next seen in Dabangg 3, which is slated to hit the big screens on December 20, 2019. At present, he is also busy with the shooting for the 13th season of Bigg Boss.
