Katrina Kaif Shuts Down Reports Of December Wedding With Vicky Kaushal
Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, a report said in the morning, would tie the knot in November or December.
Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s dating rumours have been making it to the headlines for quite some time now. The two were even speculated to be secretly engaged. And this morning, a report suggested that Katrina and Vicky are looking forward to hosting a December wedding. It was also said that preparations are in full swing.
Katrina Kaif has, however, put an end to all the speculation, saying it is not true. In an interaction with BollywoodLife.com, Katrina said the reports are untrue. When asked how the rumours got spread, she said, “That’s a question I have had for the last 15 years.”
The report also quoted a source addressing Katrina and Vicky’s wedding rumours and clarified, "This is absolutely rubbish. The two actors have no such plans. It has become a trend for some to circulate such stories about Vicky and Katrina every few months.”
For the unversed, an ETimes report this morning said that Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are planning to tie the knot in November or December. Katrina is planning to wear a Sabyasachi lehenga for her wedding. She and Vicky, the report added, have even locked a venue in Rajasthan.
But turns out all this is not true!
Meanwhile, a few weeks ago rumours that said Vicky and Katrina Kaif had a roka ceremony broke out. This also later turned out to be mere hearsay, as the teams of both actors refuted them outrightly.
About his first reaction to these rumours, Vicky said he did not have the ‘mental space’ to deal with the reports as he was then busy shooting. “To be honest, mere paas woh mental space hi nahi tha, because I was right in the middle of a shoot… Funnily enough, what happens is, these rumours start at 9 o’clock in the morning by the media and by 4.30, the media only negates the same rumours and says ‘no, it’s not true’. So, you don’t have to do anything,” he told RJ Siddharth Kannan. He added, “I had my blinders on, on my work, and I keep focusing on work.”
Notably, Katrina Kaif was spotted at the special screening of Vicky’s film Sardar Udham, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video on October 16. A video of Vicky and Katrina hugging each other from the event has been going viral on the internet.
Work-wise, Katrina Kaif is currently on a promotional spree for the release of her upcoming film Sooryavanshi, which stars Akshay Kumar as the male lead.
Vicky Kaushal was recently seen in the Shoojit Sircar directorial, Sardar Udham. He has been garnering applause and praise for his stellar act in the movie.
