KBC 14: Amitabh Bachchan On How Wife Jaya Bachchan Reacts If Her Calls Go Unanswered: ‘If You Miss The Call, Then You Are Done’

Amitabh Bachchan’s quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 14’ is the most loved show on Indian television not just for its unique format but also for the actor making some candid confessions about his personal life. Big B often shares with contestants funny and unknown anecdotes from his early days and even some interesting facts about his actor wife Jaya Bachchan. In KBC’s latest episode, Amitabh revealed how Jaya reacts if he fails to attend her calls.
A contestant named Bhupendra Chaudhary from Gujarat asked the veteran actor about his wife’s reaction if her calls go unattended. To this, Mr. Bachchan stated, “I think all the male fraternity would agree to my condition. Udhar se phone aaye and if you miss the call, then you are done. It would happen that she would not be aware of my situation if I am busy at work. But according to her, whenever her calls come I have to be present.” Big B added, “So I thought of a way. I told my secretary to receive her calls and give her my information. But then it went to a different level. She would tell me, ‘So now to talk to you, I have to go through your secretary?.”
The 80-year-old superstar in an earlier episode had revealed how Jaya expresses her love towards him. Meanwhile, the Sholar actor’s latest release ‘Uunchai’ also stars Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Parineeti Chopra, and Danny Denzongpa. The film has released in theatres today, on November 11. He will next be seen in the upcoming film 'Project-K' with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone.
