Prashanth Neel’s upcoming directorial KGF: Chapter 2 starring Yash and Sanjay Dutt is one of the highly-awaited films of this year. The movie has been in the news ever since it went on floors. Yesterday, the trailer of the film was launched in Bangalore with much fanfare and it was attended by Karan Johar who hosted the event, Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Farhan Akhtar, and others. Speaking to media at the launch, Yash was all praise of Sanju baba and called him a ‘true fighter’.
While showering heaps of praise on the Munna Bhai M.B.B.S actor, Yash said, Sanjay is a true fighter in a real sense and he has witnessed this upfront. He has seen life and experienced all sorts of things, yet he is so down-to-earth and humble. Yash also stated that Sanjay Dutt calls him ‘Yash Bhai’ sometimes and that reflects his maturity and personality.
“The way he committed himself to this film with everything that he went through with his health. We are all aware, even with the way he dedicated himself towards the action sequences especially. I was very scared for him. I told everybody to be careful, but then he came to me and said Yash, please don't insult me. I will do and I want to do it. I want to give my best.” This is how the fans would love to see him on screen and we all are your fan, Sanju sir,” Yash added. Talking about the impressive trailer, a truly fiery combination of an exciting narrative, mind-blowing action sequences, peppy soundtracks, explosive stunts, and brilliant performances, Chapter 1 broke all records and expectations. With the addition of Sanjay and Raveena to its illustrious cast, the film is sure to surpass earlier records scored by KGF 1.
KGF: Chapter 2 will release nationwide on April 14, 2022, in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam.
