Later, the newbie made heads turn with her performance in Muddasar Aziz’s Pati, Patni Aur Woh opposite Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar. Now Ananya Panday along with Ishaan is all set to leave you all impressed with yet another bombastic acting in Khaali Peeli. After releasing the first look of Khaali Peeli, the official teaser of the film was dropped and it saw Ananya and Ishaan in never seen before characters.
Now here’s a latest update about the film for those looking forward to Khaali Peeli’s release date. If the latest reports are to be believed, the makers are considering having a direct-to-web release and they have locked Gandhi Jayanti’s date i.e., October 2, on their homegrown OTT platform. A source close to the development revealed to Pinkvilla, “The banner has locked Gandhi Jayanti (October 2) as the release date for Khaali Peeli. Zee Studios will stream it only on their homegrown platform exclusively.”
The source went on to reveal that the film needs a day or two patchworks before it’s ready for the digital release. “The entire team has figured out a plan to finish it all up. They need to shoot for a day or two at the max to wrap it completely. Ananya and Ishaan will film those scenes in a controlled set up in the coming few days, mostly in the first week of September. The shoot will be concluded in Mumbai following all safety guidelines,” added the source.
