Khaali Peeli First Look: Ananya Panday Looks Concerned While Ishaan Khatter Plays Cool Cat Taxi Driver
With the arrival of the year 2020, we also get to see the first look of a much-anticipated upcoming film, Khaali Peeli starring Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter
What a better way to start 2020, right! Just to add more fun and excitement to our New Year, Ishaan Khatter took to his Instagram handle and shared the first still of his upcoming film, Khaali Peeli. Long back ago, the makers of the film announced a new film by sharing the first picture of Ishaan and Ananya, this time they treated us with the first movie still. In the picture, Ishaan is seen dressed in a taxi driver look with his shirt button open till torso. He looks all chilled and relaxed as he loving looks at Ananya through a rearview mirror while Ananya Panday is seen in a desi avatar with henna on her hand. She looks pretty concerned and suspiciously looks to Ishaan who is staring at her. However, apart from the never-seen-avatar, their expressions have intrigued us and we wonder what’s happening here.
Going by this picture, we are curious to know what's there in the store for us. The film is produced by Bharat director Ali Abbas Zafar and directed by Maqbool Khan. The shooting of the film kick-started from Sept 11, 2019. Talking about the film, it was said that the film will be revolved around love triangle but recently Ananya said that in Khaali Peeli, there isn't a love triangle but will be a different kind of triangle which is Ishaan, Ananya and the taxi. The Pati Patni Aur Woh actress feels the taxi is another heroine in the film and she is a love triangle in this film. Khaali Peeli will hit the big screens on June 12, 2020.
On Ishaan’s work front, the actor will be starring in Mira Nair's directorial venture which is an adaption of Vikram Seth's A Suitable Boy along with Tabu and Tanya Maniktala. While Ananya has Shakun Batra’s next untitled film where she will be starring opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi and Deepika Padukone.
