Khandaani Shafakhana Trailer: Sonakshi Sinha Turns Sexologist In This Quirky Comedy
Here comes the official trailer of Sonakshi Sinha, Varun Sharma and Badshah starrer Khandaani Shafakhana. The movie is directed by Shilpi Dasgupta and will be releasing on July 26
About few days ago, the official poster of the film was released, which was pretty catchy not only for the color and the men, who are hiding their faces but also the tagline of the film. It read, "Main jitna bolungi logo ko utni hi sharm aani hai - Baby Bedi" But the one thing that caught our attention was the subtitle, "Sex Clinic". Since the movie is about a sex clinic where Sonakshi Sinha will be seen playing a sexologist, the subtitle kind of makes sense.
The trailer of the movie is out today. Khandaani Shafakhana stars Sonakshi Sinha, Badshah, and Varun Sharma. The movie is directed by Shilpi Dasgupta and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Mahaveer Jain, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, Divya Khosla Kumar and Krishan Kumar and co-produced by Vinod Bhanushali. In the film, Sonakshi Sinha aka Baby Bedi plays the character of a sexologist who is trying to make the discussion on the taboo subject of sex mainstream in Indian society. The trailer of the film guarantees a fun ride with actors Varun Sharma, Anu Kapoor, and Sonakshi Sinha, who gets her uncle’s sex clinic upon his death. But the twist to that is that she could sell it only after she runs the clinic for six months. From then on, Baby Bedi starts her journey of a female sexologist.
The film will also star rapper Badshah who will play the character of a singer who is Baby’s uncle’s customer in the film. The film is shot entirely in Punjab and is set to hit the theatres on July 26th, 2019.
Sonakshi will be sharing screen space with Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in Misson Mangal which is based on the Mars Orbiter Mission. The film is set to hit the theatres on August 16, 2019, whereas Sonakshi will also play the character of Rajjo Pandey opposite Salman Khan in Dabangg 3 which is scheduled to release on December 20 this year.
