This morning, makers of Sooryavanshi released the first posters of the film starring Akshay Kumar. The superstar will play ATS Chief in Rohit Shetty’s cop drama. The posters also give out the release date of the film which is EID 2020. However, fans won’t have to wait for that long to see Akshay and Rohit unite as the duo will be teaming-up for something khatarnak, very soon.

That’s right! According to Mumbai Mirror, Akshay Kumar will appear on Rohit Shetty’s stunt-based reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 9’s finale episode. And guess what? To add to the drama, host Rohit Shetty will be designing Akki’s stunt, which will involve a truck hot on his heels as he crosses hurdles. Now, isn’t that super exciting? Seeing king of stunts performing one live for audience?

A source from the show informs the tabloid, “Akshay will shoot for his portions at a city studio this week. During his appearance, he will also give the final five contestants a pep talk,” Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 started off with 12 contestants and currently the top 5 participants are- Bharti Singh, Ridhima Pandit, Aly Goni, Shamita Shetty, Aditya Narayan and Punit Pathak.

For those unaware, Akshay’s association with the reality show goes way back. He is the one who kick-started the show and went on to host Season 2 and 4 as well. Later, Rohit took the reins from the actor, who is a pro at stunts, from Season 5. In between, Priyanka Chopra and Arjun Kapoor also turned hosts for the show.
