Loved Khuda Haafiz? Then gear up for a second ride as Vidyut Jammwal is coming up with the second instalment of this action-packed flick. That's right. Just recently, Vidyut took to his Twitter handle and shared a tweet saying that the team is all set for Khuda Haafiz Chapter II. The first instalment was released on August 14 on Disney+ Hotstar. As the film received rave reviews from the fans and critics, the makers have decided to put the second part on the cards. While announcing this exciting news, Vidyut also said that the film will go on floors in the first quarter of 2021 and we certainly can't wait for Chapter II.
His tweet read, "After the phenomenal success of #KhudaHaafiz, @PanoramaMovies gears up to create the 2nd installment of the film, 'Khuda Haafiz Chapter ll'. The film is all set to go on floors in the first quarter of 2021! @ShivaleekaO @KumarMangat @AbhishekPathakk @faruk_kabir" Khuda Haafiz is about a newly married couple's life falls in jeopardy when his wife goes missing under mysterious circumstances.
While talking to BT about the sequel, Vidyut says, "Sameer (lead character Sameer, essayed by him) getting his wife back is not the perfect ending. To adjust and successfully live in society after the woman (Nargis, played by Shivaleeka Oberoi) has gone through this turmoil is the real beginning of the love story. That's what we're planning to showcase in the second chapter."
The director of the film Faruk Kabir said, "Khuda Haafiz Chapter II is a more potent and heartfelt love story about how the lead characters come to terms with what has happened to them." He also mentioned that this film is not going to be a franchise film but it's the final lethal chapter.
