Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's elder daughter Jahnvi Kapoor made her Bollywood debut with Dhadak co-starring Ishaan Khatter. Sadly, Sridevi passed away before the film's release and could not watch her daughter shine on the big screen. Now it is time for their youngest daughter Khushi Kapoor to make her debut. In a recent interview, father Boney Kapoor spoke about Khushi Kapoor's Bollywood debut and when will it happen. Well it is sooner than you think.
To Bombay Times, Boney Kapoor revealed that Khushi is quite keen on getting into acting and the announcement of her debut film will be made soon. "Yes, Khushi is also keen on acting. You will hear an announcement soon," he said. Boney Kapoor also mentioned that he won't be launching his daughter though. "I have the resources, but I would rather have someone else launch her because I am her father and one tends to get indulgent. You can’t afford to do that as a filmmaker and nor is it good for the actor. Anil (brother Anil Kapoor) was still an established actor, so it didn’t affect him much, but I think I became an indulgent brother with Sanjay (Sanjay Kapoor) when he made his entry into films" he said. He also praised Sanjay Kapoor for doing good work on OTT now.
Janhvi Kapoor wasn't launched by her father either. She made her debut with Dhadak which was produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and directed by Shashank Khaitan. Same is the case with Boney Kapoor's soon Arjun Kapoor. He made his debut with Ishaqzaade which wasn't produced by his filmmaker father. Well, now we await Khushi Kapoor's debut announcement.
