Today is a big day for Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty as she is getting married! The actress and her cricketer boyfriend KL Rahul will tie the knot on Monday, January 23 in a traditional ceremony at Suniel’s Khandala farmhouse. Ceremonies have begun and guests have reportedly started to arrive. Celebs including, Jacky Shroff, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, MS Dhoni, and Virat Kohli are expected to arrive at this big fat wedding.
As reported by India.com, Athiya and KL’s pheras will take place at 4 pm. After their dreamy nuptials, the couple will pose together for the photographers gathered outside the wedding venue. On Sunday, their Sangeet ceremony took place and the soon-to-be-married couple reportedly performed on Suniel’s hit songs including Sheher Ki Ladki’. A photo from the wedding venue has gone viral and netizens believe that Arjun Kapoor and his sister Anshula Kapoor were also at the ceremony. KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty reportedly grooved to several numbers such as 'Besharam Rang' and 'Humma Humma' at their sangeet ceremony. Yesterday, Suniel Shetty stepped out and accepted the greetings from the media. He told the photographers, “Kal bachchon ko leke aata hoon mai. Apne sab nai jo pyaar dekhaya uske liye bhutt thank you.”
If the reports are to be believed, there will be a no-phone policy at the wedding and thus guests will not be allowed to use their phones. Athiya and Rahul will throw a lavish wedding reception in Mumbai after their nuptials. It is being said that guests at the wedding will be served a traditional South Indian feast on a banana leaf.
