In the second episode of Koffee With Karan 8, Bobby reminisced about a challenging phase in his life when he faced a dearth of work and how it had a profound impact on him and his family. He shared, "I gave up, I started feeling sorry for myself. I resorted to heavy drinking and spent my days at home. I would often lament, questioning why I wasn't getting opportunities. I believed in my abilities, wondering why no one wanted to collaborate with me. I became so engulfed in negativity that it overwhelmed any positivity within me."

He further adds, "I heard my son saying, you know mom, papa sits at home and you go to work every day. Something snapped in me. I just said, no I can't. It was a slow process, when I got out of it, it took me time to get into the right mind frame to become okay. It can't happen overnight," The actor said during this tough phase his family always stood by him.

On the professional front, Bobby is gearing up for his role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal, alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna. The film is scheduled to grace the silver screen on December 1, 2023.
