Konkona Replaces Tabu

On April 18, SpotboyE.com brought you the news that Tabu opted out of A R Murugadoss’ Akira, which has Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role. The film is a remake of theTamil hit Mounaguru. Tabu demanded a very high fee, which sent Murgadoss reeling.
Buzz is, Konkana Sen Sharma will step into Tabu's shoes.
Konkona, who is currently in Kolkata, will join the cast early next month in Mumbai.
The film also stars Anurag Kashyap and Amit Sadh in pivotal roles.
