It must be pointed out that the film will be directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, who launched the slender actress with Heropanti.

The inclusion of Sanon means a no-show for Jacqueline who was eagerly waiting for the role to land up on her lap, even warming up to Salman at a recent awards show.
Interestingly, Salman had joked (?) that Jacqueline had been ‘kicked out’ of the Kick franchisee at an event last year and consequently the Sri Lankan beauty had a lot of answering to do to the media. We hear, the actress’ proximity with Arjun Kapoor didn’t go down too well with Bhai.
Another lady in contention was Sonakshi 'Dabangg' Sinha, but Salman decided on Kriti who he wanted to work with even in Sultan (a role that ultimately went to Anushka Sharma)

The film tentatively rolls in the second half of 2016 and will see Salman in double roles. Salman is also closely involved in the film’s writing.
