Kriti Sanon Calls For CBI Inquiry In Sushant Singh Rajput's Case; Pens Note Saying 'It's High Time His Soul Rests In Peace'
Late Sushant Singh Rajput's rumoured ex-girlfriend recently took to her Instagram stories to demand for a CBI inquiry in his death case
Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14, 2020. Ever since then, all his fans have been calling for a CBI inquiry in his death case. Sushant's father lodged an FIR against his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and now, even the centre has accepted Bihar Government's request for a CBI probe. However, the Supreme Court's decision in Rhea's plea seeking transfer of FIR to Mumbai Police is yet to come. Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon, who was rumoured to be Sushant's girlfriend one point in time, took to her Insta stories to demand justice for him.
Taking to her Insta stories, Kriti wrote that it is high time that the truth comes out and everybody gets closure. She wrote, "I pray that the Truth comes out soon. His family, his friends, fans and all loved ones deserve this closure.. I hope and pray that the CBI takes over the case, so it's investigated without any political agendas, in TRUE sense, to provide justice to the family!! Its high time his soul rests in peace. #CBIForSSR #SushantSinghRajput."
Kriti Sanon was among the few Bollywood stars who attended Sushant Singh Rajput's funeral. The late actor's father in one of his interviews also shared that it was Kriti who spoke to him and shared her condolences.

In Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, the Supreme Court reserved its decision in the last hearing and demanded all the parties to give in their written replies. As per a report in news agency, Rhea filed her submission today in SC saying, "Bihar government can't transfer probe to the CBI" as it does not have the jurisdiction.
