Kubbra Sait Recalls How She Gatecrashed Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone's Wedding 'With An Invitation'
During an online chat session, Kubbra Sait shared an anecdote where she revealed how she was invited to Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding
Usually, one gatecrashes a party, wedding or any event without an invitation. They unexpectedly mark their presence at the event but it was sort of different in Kubbra Sait's case as she gatecrashed a wedding 'with an invitation' and the wedding in question was Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's. Well, it so happened that after Ranveer praised Kubbra for her role in Sacred Games, in response, Kubbra told him that he shouldn't forget to invite her for the wedding. To which Ranveer said he will obviously invite her for his and Deepika's wedding. And that's how she earned a wedding invitation and that's what she likes to call 'gatecrashing the wedding with an invitation.'
While recalling the incident, Kubbra said to Filmfare during an online session and shared this anecdote, "I met him (Ranveer Singh) many eons ago when I was hosting a show in a crowd of 5,000 people. You don't imagine to be remembered by a superstar of that order when you are hosting a show, but he remembered me." She further added that when her 2018 web series was released, Ranveer texted her and said, "kya Boss, you are a daredevil'!" To which Kubbra replied, "don't forget to invite me to your wedding" and he said, "Are you kidding me, of course, you are going to get invited."
The actor further said, "that's how I think I earned myself an invite and he was very generous and kind. I would like to say, I gatecrashed his wedding with an invitation!" recalled Kubra, while speaking on a chat show.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot in Italy on November 14 and 15, 2018 which was followed by three epic wedding receptions in Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai.
