Lata Mangeshkar Health Update: Singer’s Team Issues A Statement Urging Her Fans Not To Fall For False News
Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar’s team appeals to her fans not to believe in false news regarding her health
With passing day, fans of the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar are worried, as she still continues to be in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for treatment, after she tested positive for COVID-19. The singer is admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai. Every day just like a little piece of news comes out assuring the singer doing better, simultaneously there are also rumours contrary to it. Hence, now her team has issued a statement refuting all the rumours of her deteriorating health.
Her spokesperson Anusha Srinivasan Iyer said, “A sincere appeal. Please do not give wind to any false news. Lata Didi is in the ICU under treatment being treated by Dr Pratit Samdani and his team of doctors. The family and the doctors need their space. Let us pray for Lata Didi’s speedy recovery and return home.” Her team has urged her fans to pray for her speedy recovery. After the Bharat Ratna recipient was hospitalised on January 9, 2022, back then also her spokesperson was upset with the news of the singer’s poor health being circulating on the internet.
Anusha back then had said, “It is disturbing to see false news being circulated. Please note that Lata didi is stable.”
On January 18, as per reports in indianexpress.com the 92-years-old singer was showing improvement and was also said to be off ventilator. “Lata Mangeshkar has started having solid food from the last couple of days and is showing improvement. She is responsive and doing better. She is not on ventilator,” read the report.
