Ayushmann Khurrana is currently one of the best actors in Bollywood. From Bareilly Ki Barfi to his latest Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, he has proved his worth and has made a name himself in the list of bankable actors. As the actor is basking in success with SMZS, Ayushmann is on cloud nine but there’s another reason why the actor is so elated and it is because the actor was praised by one of the prolific singers Lata Mangeskar.

Lata Mangeskar recently watched Andhadhun and the singer is completely impressed with the film that made her say some nice words for the actor as well as for the movie. Along with praising him, she also hoped for prosperity and congratulated him for the future. While sharing a tweet on the same, Lata ji tweeted on her handle, “@ayushmannk ji namaskar. Maine aap ki film Andhadhun aaj dekhi. Aapne bahut accha kaam kiya hai aur jo gaane aapne gaaye hain wo bhi mujhe bahut acche lage.Main aapko bahut badhaai deti hun aur aapko bhavishya mein aur yash mile aisi mangal kaamana karti hun.”

Getting appreciated for work always makes one proud and happy and well, that’s exactly what Ayushmann is currently feeling about Lata Mangeskar’s prais-filled tweet. Responding to her tweet, an elated Ayushman tweeted, “Lata di aapka yeh kehna mere liye bahut maayne rakhta hai. Aapke is protsaahan ke liye hee shayad maine mehnat ki thi. Aashirwaad ke liye shukriya.”


Andhadhun was one of the biggest hits in 2018, Ayushmann Khurrana even bagged Best Actor National Award which itself is a big deal. Meanwhile, on the work front, reportedly, Khurrana will be next seen in Stree Rog Vibhag, apart from this, he has Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo along with Amitabh Bachchan.
