Late actor Irrfan Khan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar drops throwback pictures and video of the actor, as 2020 comes to an end, shares can’t term this year worst
With everyone bidding goodbye to the year 2020 terming it to be the worst year, late actor Irrfan Khan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar in her Facebook post remembered him too. In her FB post, she mentioned that she can’t term this year as the worst year, as Irrfan was alive, for the uninitiated ones the actor passed away in the month of April 2020, after his 2-year battle against cancer. She also mentioned last year around this time, the late actor was by her side gardening, and building houses for birds.
Further, she mentions thus bidding goodbye to 2020 is difficult for her and having no idea how she should welcome 2021. In her Facebook post, she posted throwback pictures of the actor and a video where he was seated on his bed busy working on something with a hammer in his hand. Sutapa Sikdar wrote in her Facebook post, “It's so difficult to wish 2020 as the worst year as you were still there. last year this day next to me, gardening, busy building birds house how can I say goodbye to 2020!! Irrfan I have no idea how to welcome 2021!!”

After the actor passed away, wife Sutapa Sikdar and son Babil Khan posted several throwback pictures and videos of the late actor. Irrfan Khan passed away on April 29, 2020, as he passed away amidst the COVID-19 lockdown, seen at his funeral were filmmakers Vishal Bharadwaj, Tigmanshu Dhulia along with his family.
