Late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden and untimely demise has sent shockwaves across the country. The actor’s death case is currently under investigation, and the agencies are trying their best to find out the truth behind SSR’s demise. As the investigation continues, in a significant development, Sushant was reportedly in talks for a film on the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai, a day before he was found dead on June 14. As per the report, SSR also had another meeting with producers scheduled on June 15.
According to India Today, Uday Singh Gauri from CornerStone LLP- Sushant Singh Rajput’s agent, told the Mumbai Police, the Central Bureau of Investigation, and the Enforcement Directorate, in his statement that on June 13, he had connected SSR to filmmaker Nikkhil Advani and producer Ramesh Taurani. Uday Singh Gauri had shared details of the conversation and said, “We did a narration where Nikkhil Advani narrated an idea to him. You should actually corroborate this with Nikkhil Advani and Ramesh Taurani too. They had called me and I had called Sushant. It was a four-way conference call between Nikkhil Advani, Ramesh Taurani, myself and Sushant.”
SSR’s agent continued, “I was on the call but I was just hearing because the narration was being given by Nikkhil. Nikkhil was talking, Sushant was talking and Ramesh ji was talking. He (Sushant) was asking the right questions.” Later, Gauri said that Nikkhil would ask SSR what he understood and he would respond saying that he got him till that point and the discussion would move forward. He also mentioned that the conversation was not ‘very long’ and that SSR had a meeting scheduled on June 15.
Meanwhile, it was earlier reported that Gauri’s call log details revealed that he contacted the late actor ‘five to six’ times a day before his demise. On the other hand, Taurani had confirmed that he’d spoken with SSR a day before his demise. When the producer was asked if he was planning to sign Sushant, he said he does not want to comment on it.
