Musician- composer Wajid Khan breathed his last on June 1, 2020, and this news of his sad demise came as a sudden shock to the film fraternity as he passed at an early age of 47. Today Prasoon Joshi shared a video clip of the late composer on his Twitter account.  In this video clip, we can hear and see late composer Wajid Khan speaking about his experience working with Prasoon and the singer was just on a spree of praising the lyricist and composer. The video clip was shared by one of the Twitter users which got Prasoon all emotional.

Sharing this video clip on his Twitter account, the lyricist thanked the Twitter user for sharing it. This video clip gave us a glimpse of Wajid Khan who was always enthusiastic about his work. Thanking this Twitter user, Prasoon tweeted, “धन्यवाद आपने कई पुराने तारों को छेड़ दिया, Wajid was truly special.” He mentioned in the tweet of this video clip getting him all nostalgic and reliving some old memories, also mentioning how Wajid Khan was special. Also seen in the video is filmmaker Kunal Kohli talking about his work experience with Prasoon Joshi.

In the video, Wajid Khan is heard narrating an incident when he was working with Prasoon and was overwhelmed to see how this lyricist understands music and puts his heart and soul into his work.


Wajid Khan passed away due to cardiac arrest, thus leaving the industry in deep shock and sorrow. Recently his family taking to the social networking account had mentioned about the late composer and his last couple of months of his life, which were physically challenging as he underwent surgeries and medical treatment to be fit and fine. They also thanked the team of doctors and hospital staff in this note.

Wajid Khan’s last composition to hit the digital platform was composed for Salman Khan titled Pyaar Karona and Bhai Bhai.
