Quite a biggie we can say, as Suniel Shetty bagged the role of an antagonist in a Tamil film called Darbar that also stars South megastar Rajinikanth in lead role. In the film, Shetty plays a stylized villain and reports are rife that his first look will be unveiled on the Thalaiva’s birthday, Dec 12.
However, 2 days before that, we have got our hands on an EXCLUSIVE PICTURE from the sets and we bring it to you below:
In the picture, we can see the dashing actor with his hair tied in a bun, a nice beard, aviators and a scarf over a black shirt. Indeed, quite stylish, we say!
Well, this ain’t the first time that the actor has played a negative role. His portrayal of Ex-Major Raghavan Singh Dutta in Main Hoon Naa was much appreciated. So, we certainly have high expectations this time around as well.
Recently, at the audio launch event, Suniel was all praises for his co-star Rajinikanth as he said, “Rajinikanth is like a God to me. Every one of us has some amount of Rajini in us. That's the kind of influence he has on us. It is an absolute pleasure and brilliant experience for me to be a part of Darbar and work with Superstar Rajinikanth!”
Apart from Rajinikanth and Suniel Shetty, Darbar also stars Nayanthara (as the female lead) Yogi Babu, Jeeva, Nivetha Thomas, Jatin Sarna, Prateik Babbar, Nawab Shah, baby Manasvi Kottachi among others.
Darbar, which is an action-thriller is written and directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Allirajah Subaskaran under the banner of Lyca Productions. The film is slated to release on Jan 10, 2020.
