Friends and business partners Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan have split ways. The duo, who earlier, were both part of the production house Illuminati Films will now work separately. Saif will continue in Illuminati Films while Dinesh will continue to helm his Maddock Films. The two, however, will still be co-owners.
While creative differences are pegged as the reason for the split, it’s seems like financial differences might have also played a role. Apparently, Saif was uncomfortable with the handling of the budgets.
When contacted, Dineshs spokesperson stated in an official mail, “Illuminati films is and will continue to be jointly owned by Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan. However, Saif and Dinesh will also produce films separately and independently under their respective banners.”
Illuminati Films will release Happy Ending later this year and Maddock Films Finding Fanny will hit theaters on 12th September.
