Lisa Turns Down Bobby Deol Film
The hunt for the female lead is still on; the makers may zero down on a fresh face
Bobby Deol is returning to the big screen after a long time with the Genghis Khan biopic. But the film, produced under the banner of Vijeta Films, is not without its share of hurdles.
Initial reports stated that Nargis Fakhri had been offered the female lead but turned it down. However, the actress dismissed these rumours.
The latest is that director Vivek Chauhan was interested in having Lisa Haydon on board for the home production. He thought she would fit the bill since the script demanded an Indian girl who speaks anglicised Hindi.
However, we hear, Lisa too has refused the movie.
Says a source, “They were keen to cast Lisa, especially after her impressive act in Queen. But she did not show much interest.”
Now the makers have decided to cast a new girl.
