Are Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan already happy dancing? Well, as per latest reports, their upcoming movie Love Aaj Kal will be the first one to be screened post-midnight in certain multiplex chains located in certain parts of Mumbai. A long-pending plea of the people asking to keep some options open for them to chill out in town till the wee hour was ultimately heard by the state government recently. The govt. has given a nod to malls, pubs, restaurants to remain open till midnight and now we shall have movies too, to enjoy.
As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, Love Aaj Kal will be the first film to reap the benefits of this recent approval; along with major places in Mumbai, towns such as Thane, Kalyan, Navi Mumbai etc will also follow suit. Currently, this trend will begin from coming Saturday i.e. from February 15. Thus, allowing this Imitiaz Ali helmed film to screen in theatres for 12: 30 shows. Also, this late-night screening of the movie will only be taking place in the theatres located close by the vicinity of BPO, KPO or restaurants that run till wee hours.
Adding further, reports state that theatres embracing this new change will have only one screen dedicated to the mid-night shows until it catches up among the movie-goers. The same will observed on festivals off too.
