Maanayata Dutt Says ‘Sands Are Shifting’ While Praying For Sanjay Dutt; Actor Likely To Fly Off To NY With Wife And Priya Dutt
According to the latest reports, Sanjay Dutt has procured a five-year visa for the US on medical grounds and is expected to fly to New York along with Maanayata Dutt and Priya Dutt
Earlier this month, the news of Sanjay Dutt’s lung cancer diagnosis surfaced and the actor announced that he was taking a short break from work to seek medical treatment. There were reports that the actor would be flying either to the US or Singapore for his cancer treatment. Last week, he was spotted outside his residence along with wife Maanayata Dutt and sisters Priya and Namrata as he headed to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, reportedly for his preliminary treatment. Now, as per the latest reports, Sanjay Dutt has procured a five-year visa for the US on medical grounds and is expected to fly to New York along with Maanayata Dutt and Priya Dutt for his cancer treatment.
A source revealed to Mid-Day that Sanjay Dutt had applied for visa as soon as he learnt of his cancer diagnosis. While initially, it wasn’t easy to get the clearance, the source added that one of his friends helped the actor secure a five-year visa on medical grounds. “He is expected to fly to New York with Maanayata and Priya, where he will pursue treatment at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre,” said the source. Sanjay Dutt’s mother Nargis who had battled pancreatic cancer had also been admitted to the same hospital.
Meanwhile, praying for Sanjay Dutt, Maanayata took to her social media ad wrote, "Sands are shifting.... Mid-Day also quoted the source saying that Sanjay Dutt was considering travelling to Singapore if the US plan hadn’t worked out. However, it has worked out and Sanjay is expected to leave at the earliest.
