South superstar Mahesh Babu, who was one of the chief guests at the pre-release event in Hyderabad, was forced to dance on the stage. The event also saw the presence of Anil Kapoor, who plays one of the leads in the film, and he also asked Mahesh Babu to join him on the stage after constant requests. While Anil Kapoor danced to Mahesh Babu's 'Dole Dole' song, he stood there watching and shied away from dancing.
Animal pre-release event in Hyderabad was held on November 17, and it saw the presence of Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol, who addressed the crowd. While speaking, Anil Kapoor casually invited Mahesh Babu to join him on stage for a dance.
Mahesh Babu, who is known for his shy personality, initially refused to shake a leg. But, Kapoor continued to push him. He went on to call him and Ranbir Kapoor, and at one point, he even said, 'I'm your senior'. Following many requests, Mahesh Babu and Ranbir joined them on stage.
As the senior actor grooved to Mahesh Babu's superhit song, 'Dole Dole' from 'Pokkiri', the Telugu actor gave him a hug and left the stage. Now, a video of the incident has been going viral on social media.
Shortly after the video was shared by a Reddit user, netizens stormed the comments section and trolled Anil Kapoor for his creepy behaviour. The actor has been facing public scrutiny and many bashed him for making Mahesh Babu uncomfortable. Some even labelled him a second-hand embarrassment.
Reacting to the video, one user penned, "OMG, I feel embarrassed looking at this, poor MB", another one wrote, "I bet MB was mentally wishing he had the powers to disappear. Man is extremely shy and this creep is just not letting it go."
Speaking of Animal, the film is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film also features Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. The film will be released in theatres on December 1. According to the censor report, the film was given an adult certificate and is three hours 21 minutes long.
