The highly anticipated sports drama film, Maidaan, is gearing up to make a splash on the silver screen on April 11, coinciding with the festive occasion of Eid. A pre-release special screening of the movie took place in Mumbai on Tuesday, drawing a galaxy of Bollywood luminaries to its premiere. The star-studded event was graced by the presence of industry stalwarts like Ajay Devgn, Sanya Malhotra, Boney Kapoor, and a constellation of other celebrities, all gathered in eager anticipation of the film's imminent debut. Bigg Boss 17's Mannara Chopra, Janhvi Kapoor with brother Arjun Kapoor also graced the film's premiere. Among the notable personalities spotted at the screening venue on April 9 were the legendary Shabana Azmi accompanied by her husband Javed Akhtar, along with a lineup of other well-known figures including Gajraj Rao, Neena Gupta, Sanya Malhotra, and Sunny Kaushal. Their presence added to the buzz surrounding the film, reflecting the industry's collective excitement for the compelling narrative portraying the golden era of Indian football.







Helmed by the acclaimed director Amit Ravindranath Sharma of Badhaai Ho fame, Maidaan is a project produced by veteran Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor, along with Akash Chawla, Arunav Joy Sengupta, and Zee Studios. The film boasts a stellar cast led by Ajay Devgn and Priyamani in pivotal roles, with Gajraj Rao and Rudranil Ghosh offering strong support in their respective characters.







As the release date approaches, Maidaan is poised to go head-to-head with another much-anticipated film, Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, both slated for a theatrical release on April 10.
