Makers Of Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4 Get Criticised For Reporting Fake Box-Office Numbers; Actor Reacts To Accusations
Akshay Kumar and the makers of his recently-released, Housefull 4, are being heavily criticised on social media for reporting inflated box-office collections and here’s how the actor reacted to the same!
Isn’t it time everyone reports Box Office numbers accurately! @KomalNahta @taran_adarsh ... accuracy of information builds CREDIBILITY which the movie industry needs so badly ... and not sure how long-to appease egos will Studios and all keep encouraging pumped up data on numbers— Ronnie Screwvala (@RonnieScrewvala) October 29, 2019
IMHO sir, collections don’t even need to be in the public domain. Only the stakeholders (the studios, talent, producers, distributors, exhibitors & tax collecting authorities / govt) need to know them. Putting them out does more harm than good to the sector.— Akshaye Rathi (@akshayerathi) October 29, 2019

Entire film industry is shocked after seeing HUGE manipulation in collection that too by a reputed distribution company. Getting lot of calls from industry folks congratulating me for speaking up against it , but if all wont speak up, this inflation game will never stop.— Sumit kadel (@SumitkadeI) October 29, 2019
