A lot of Bollywood celebrities welcome New Year 2021 with their soulmates, away from the city shenanigans. Among others, the list also includes Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor, who rang in New Years in Goa in the presence of some friends and family members. Soon after, Malla also treated fans to a mushy picture of hers with the 2 States actor to mark new beginnings. Well, their social media romance garnered a lot of compliments, including that from actress Kareena Kapoor Khan.
The picture shared by Malaika saw her in a sexy shimmer grey outfit as she cosily sat with Arjun. The latter looked charming in a quirky shirt. Under their picture, Bebo didn't only call them her favourites but also asked whats in their menu for the bash. "My two favourites ....menuuuu kya haii aajjj," read Kareena's comment. Malaika's caption, on the other hand, read, "It’s a new dawn ,it’s a new day , it’s a new year ..... 2021 #eternallygrateful."

After a long time of courtship, it was only from last year that Arjun and Malaika started to publicly acknowledge their relationship. Soon after, in an interview with Filmfare, Arjun opened up on the same by saying, "We’ve come out because we feel the media has given us dignity. There’s a certain understanding the media has... they’ve been respectful, kind, honest and decent about it. That is why I felt comfortable.”
