Bollywood actress Malaika Arora is certainly one of the most-talked about celebrities from the Hindi entertainment industry. The actress’ ex-husband Arbaaz Khan tied the knot for the second time with makeup artist Sshura Khan on Sunday evening. However, she was missing from the event and instead chose to host a Christmas Eve party for her close friends.
The 50-year-old dancing diva took to her Instagram handle to share and reshare photos and videos of her Christmas celebration on her stories. Staying true to the festive vibes, she decorated her home with white cushions featuring a reindeer in red colour. She was dolled up for the party in a white sleeveless dress and tied her hair in a ponytail with red ribbons. She fully enjoyed the party with her friends and their social media posts are proof of the same. It is to be noted, that while Malaika chose to skip the wedding, her son Arhaan attended his father’s intimate marriage ceremony. Talking about her separation from Arbaaz Khan, she had revealed in an interview, “I think I made my choice and I put myself first. And I think by doing that, I am a much better person today. I have a better relationship with my son; he sees that I am much happier. I have a much better relationship with my ex-husband. I’m happy I made these decisions and I stood up for myself. So, for women out there, don’t be scared. Don’t be afraid to follow your heart. Yes, you will ruffle feathers but life is not easy. For the unversed, apart from her media appearances, the actress has also been making the headlines for her relationship with Arjun Kapoor. Despite the breakup rumours a few months ago, the couple is still going strong. Before officially announcing her relationship with Arjun in 2019, Malaika was married to Arbaaz Khan for 18 years. They got divorced in 2017 and since then have been co-parenting their son Arhaan Khan. On the work front, Malaika Arora is currently judging the 11th season of the celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.
