Malaika Arora REVEALS Arbaaz Khan Was One Of First People She Saw After Car Accident: ‘Thought I Might Not Survive, He Kept Asking Me, Can you See’
Malaika Arora has been grabbing eyeballs with her new talk show ‘Moving In With Malaika’ where she is opening up like never before. In an episode graced by Farah Khan, the actress spoke about her major car accident that took place in April this year. She sustained a major eye injury and was operated on. Malaika revealed that her ex-husband Arbaaz Khan was one of the first people she saw after she opened her eyes post the accident. He was by her side irrespective of "whether it may be, past, present, or future."

The Chaiyya Chaiyya told Farah she could not see anything for a couple of hours and thought she had lost her sight and that might not see her son Arhaan again. Malaika said, “In that moment I thought I was disfigured. I thought I've lost my sight in that moment because I couldn't see anything for those couple of hours. There was so much of glass shard in my eye and there was blood, so I couldn't see. For me, in that moment, I genuinely thought that I don't think I will survive and I may not see Arhaan again. I was taken to hospital, surgery happened, etc.” ALSO READ:Malaika Arora On Her Car ACCIDENT: 'All I Wanted To Know Was Whether I Was Alive Or Not, Still Get Flashes That Send Shivers Down My Spine'

She added, “But when I was wheeled out one of the first faces that I saw was actually Arbaaz, at that moment. And he kept asking me, 'Can you see? How many numbers? How many fingers?' And I was like 'why is he doing this?' It was very strange. For a second, I was like okay 'have I gone back in time?' Something that really sticks out is in difficult times, you know that irrespective whatever it may be, past, present, future, jo bhi ho (whatever happened), the way he was there.”

For the unversed, Malaika on April 2 met with a horrifying car accident on the outskirts of Mumbai while she was returning from Pune after attending a fashion event. Reportedly, a bus and two cars collided with each other and one of them hit Malaika’s SUV. The actress sustained injuries on her forehead and eye and was immediately rushed to Apollo Hospital.
