Malaika Arora Speaks About Her Battle Against COVID-19; Says 'I Knew How Weak I Was, It Was So Difficult To Go Back To Things'
Malaika Arora who was recently detected with COVID-19 spilt the beans about her feeling weak, people being shocked of the diva being gripped by it despite leading a healthy life and to top it all, the dreadful disease being emotionally draining as well. The actress had mild symptoms and had to remain isolated for 14 days, she shared coming out of it is not possible in merely a span of 2- 3 days. She also shared that one needs to be calm and positive as they fight it out.

As reported in Times Of India she said, “You are so unwell! If you’re asymptomatic, then it’s fine. But if you have symptoms, it’s a huge challenge because you have to take care, be vigilant... it’s not something you can deal within two to three days, the time period is 14 days, which is a long time. But it’s important to stay calm and be positive.” Also speaking about the news of she testing positive for COVID-19 was unbelievable for some of them.

She further added, “I think everybody was really shocked and kept telling me ‘you’re someone who is so fit, how did you get covid? I think that’s a myth.”

After she recovered the actress slowly and steadily got back to fitness beginning with jogging and running, sunbathing in the morning for 40 minutes, she says, “I started jogging and running a little, just to see whether my body was weak, or my lungs were able to take it. If you have the energy, a little bit of yoga or breathing exercises are good. Urging people to take on some physical activity, she also warns people not to take the virus lightly. “We have age and health on our side, that’s why people insist on doing some form of physical activity is a must. I feel that part of me really helped me to recover.
