Malang Trailer Launch: When Director Mohit Suri Met Producer Luv Ranjan To Discuss The Film's Script But The Duo Ended Up Drinking Instead
The trailer of Malang was launched some time back and it’s already begun trending on social media. We were right there at the launch event and we witnessed all the madness that happened there as the star-cast- Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani, director Mohit Suri, producers Bhushan Kumar and Luv Ranjan braved questions from the media.

Producer Luv Ranjan went about narrating a fun incident when director Mohit Suri met him to discuss a few scripts including Malang, but the duo ended up drinking together. Mohit even lied to his wife Udita Goswami that he’s in a meeting as he sat down to gulp down beer and whiskey together. Luv added how it was interesting that they didn’t discuss Malang at all during the meeting but did talk about a few other scripts. WATCH VIDEO BELOW:

Several other things also happened at the event. Aditya Roy Kapur was asked about comparisons with ‘serial kisser’ Emraan Hashmi as he has locked lips in Malang and his earlier films too. He said he would feel honoured to follow in Emraan’s footsteps.

Finally, the discussion also veered towards a serious topic like JNU attack that happened last night. Both Anil and Aditya strongly condemned the act.
Malang is helmed by Mohit Suri, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Luv Rajan, Ankur Garg, Jay Shewakraman. The film is slated to hit the big screens on Feb 7, 2020.
