Man Linked With Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Estranged Wife Aaliya Rubbishes Affair Rumours: ‘I’m In A Relationship With Someone’
A report on the Internet linked Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya with Peeyush Pandey, and hinted at an alleged relationship between them. Now, Peeyush has rubbished these rumours, calling them baseless and ridiculous
Ever since the news of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya seeking divorce made the headlines, several reports on the Internet followed. Aaliya, who now goes by the name Anjana Kishor Pandey has been quite vocal about it, and her lawyer stated that a legal notice has been sent to Nawazuddin via WhatsApp and email on May 7. Apart from Aaliya and her lawyer’s statement, a report also surfaced linking Aalia with Peeyush Pandey, former business head of Viacom’s spotlight section. It hinted at an alleged relationship between them, but now, he has rubbished rumours of their link-up, calling them baseless and ridiculous.
The report hinting at their relationship also stated that Aaliya’s WhatsApp display picture features her with Peeyush. Now, while speaking with Bombay Times, Peeyush Pandey said that he himself found out about the divorce through media reports. “I am the scapegoat here. These link-up rumours are completely baseless and ridiculous! Why am I being dragged into this? I have nothing to do with this. People around them know about their feud and what is going on between them (estranged relationship). I want to stay away from it. Why is my name and reputation being tarnished? I am in a relationship with someone, and this sort of rumour is extremely distasteful,” he said.
He further mentioned that luckily, his better half knows about the truth since she is also Aaliya’s friend, and that he will consult his lawyer about safeguarding his interests.
Speaking about the picture, he said, “We all click pictures. It’s a normal thing to do. If there are three people in the picture and you crop it and use just two people, you can claim whatever you want to.”
