We woke up to the very unfortunate news of filmmaker Raj Kaushal passing away. The director-producer who was married to Bollywood actress Mandira Bedi breathed his last this morning after suffering a cardiac arrest. The news came as a shock to everyone and now confirming the sad news to us, Raj's close friend and Mandira Bedi's co-star Rohit Roy said, 'Sadly it is true.
A few minutes back Rohit had taken to his Instagram to post a long message for his late friend. Sharing a picture with him the actor wrote, "One of the nicest guys you could ever have met… and if u were lucky, u could have called him your friend… and just like that, he’s gone, even without saying goodbye too numb with grief and shock to react… This is not fair, just not fair. Raj, my friend, my brother… keep spreading the cheer where ever your next abode is… Knowing your penchant for good homes, I am sure you are looking for a good spot in heaven RIGHT NOW! We all loved you dearly and you know that … unfortunately, we kept saying next week and that week never came to See you on the other side, my bro….Till we raise hell again, REST IN PEACE @rajkaushal". Rohit and Mandira started their TV careers around the same time. They helmed two extremely important and popular shows in the 90s, namely Shanti and Swabhimaan.
